Hi I am Rachit. Like some of you , I too wanted to get into core companies but a couple of rumours ... surrounded me. So first I would like to address them. NOTE : (Following experience is purely personal with respect to the placement season.) Rumours 1: Hi-Fi projects are needed to get good placements. Ans : Nopes, as per my experience they are not required . I didn't have a single working project on my resume XD (except my very basic 8085 project ). In one interview TI interviewer kept aside a seemingly complex project a candidate had brought. Moral - MS karni hai toh banao,warna no tension. 2: CEDT is necessary for good placements Ans : Here again ans is no. If you're way too enthusiastic about electronics toh jaao warna rehne do.
